Jamieson, who held the North West Shelf position from 1997 to 1999, replaces Boudewijn Peter Theodoor de Wit who was appointed in July 2002 who in turn replaced Peter Duncan.
Jamieson is the vice president gas and projects for Shell Global Solutions International BV, based in The Hague.
Before his Hague posting, Jamieson was formerly managing director of Nigeria LNG Limited and vice president of Bonny Gas Transport Limited in Lagos, Nigeria.
